Online Technical Requirements

Students starting an Ed Media online class are expected to have the following in place before class starts:

• the latest version of Microsoft Word requried for most class assignments
• a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word
• a thorough working knowledge of your e-mail system, including sending and opening attachments
• a virus detection software
• the latest version of Internet Explore or Safari, the browsers recommended for WebCt online classes, loaded on your computer
• a thorough working knowledge of Internet Explorer or Safari.

Equally important for starting Ed Media online classes are the Internet, hardware and software technical requirements identified by the University of Central Florida.
