Professional Standards and Policies that Guide the Online Ed Media Masters and Ed Media Courses

National Policies for Online Programs are used to develop a quality online (distance learning) Ed Media program that is consistent with the mission of the University of Central Florida and the College of Education, supported by the College of Education conceptual framework and knowledge base, guided by a long-range plan and supported by adequate resources.

The Ed Media program and Ed Media courses are designed to meet National and State Professional Standards for school library media specialists and to ensure that Ed Media students are effective users of ideas and information.
