Ed Media Masters students have requirements that must be meet during three Milestones of the Ed Media program.

The Initial Milestone is the point in which an application applies for admission into the Ed Media Masters. University, College of Education and Ed Media program requirements must be met to be admitted into the Ed Media Masters.

The Middle Milestone is reached when Ed Media students have completed the online Ed Media Specialization course, among other milestones. At this point students is tested to determine their knowledge and application of the Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAP).

The End Milestone comes at the end of the Ed Media program. This is the point at which students move begin the process of meeting requirements towards graduation.

Ed Media Program Milestones for Ed Media Students

Initial Milestones: Students must a) complete the Graduate Studies Online Admissions Application and b) meet the following criteria to be considered as a candidate for the Ed Media Masters program: GRE, transcripts, GPA, References, Essay Questions, optional interview and earned Florida Initial Professional Teaching Certification. One month into the first semester of Ed Media coursework students must complete the eAdvisement form.

Middle Milestones: Under Construction: The Middle Milestone is being reviewed and rewritten.

End Milestones: Students must a) successfully completion all courses in the online Ed Media Program of Study, b) pass the online Ed Media Comprehensive examination and c) meet all Ed Media program, Department, College of Education, and University of Central Florida exit requirements.
